Divine Intervention

(When God Steps In)

In your darkest moments, agonizing times, and sorrowful days, no human power can save you; only the divine intervention of God can. No pills could save Lazarus from death, but divine intervention brought him back to life. No skill could save Peter from sinking on the sea, but divine intervention made him walk on the sea. Divine intervention is simply an act of God—something out of human control.

It either causes something to happen or stops something from happening. It is what caused the endless Red Sea to split for the people of Israel to walk on dry ground, and it is what stopped the three Hebrew boys from being burnt into ashes. It often locates victims of mockery, slander, false accusation, pain, failure, and heartbreak when all their efforts and plans have been exhausted.

Divine intervention is unforgettable because it occurs when there is no hope. What is your woe or situation? Is it a difficult financial situation, a troubling spouse, a wayward child, or a deteriorating health condition? God's divine intervention is able to see you through any situation. It is able to change your status as a victim into a victor. It steps in when you feel like stepping out. When you can't go on, just at the moment when you feel like giving up, that's when God's divine intervention locates you. Hold on, have faith! God's divine intervention is about to overtake you (Exodus 3:8; cf. Luke 1:37; Exodus 14:14). God loves you!
